RAMPTON DANCE ASSOCIATION INC.

We wish to welcome all new and existing families to another fun and exciting year in dance. 

To introduce ourselves to the new families we have listed some important information below:

 

WHO ARE WE

Rampton Dance Association Inc is a VOLUNTARY GROUP who support Sherrie Rampton and Ramptons Danzenergy Studio. We are the parents and grandparents of all the wonderful students who attend the studio.

 

WHAT WE DO

The Association helps raise money to subsidise major expenses such as seminars, eisteddfods and costumes. We are here to help new dancers and their families make their way through the confusion of dance etiquette. We organize outings such as the Christmas Party that brings an air of relaxation and reward for the year of hard work put in by all. Members of the Association are covered by our Public Liability and Volunteers Insurance.

 

MEMBERSHIP AND LEVY FEES

These fees as set out in the Membership Application Form, are to be paid on or before the AGM to make you a valid member for the AGM which will be held on the 17th March 2013. (all welcome).

 

WHAT DOES YOUR LEVY FEE COVER

The levy you pay to the Association covers:

  • Insurances for :
  • when you volunteer to help with fundraising activities and social events outside the studio
  • when you help the dancers backstage
  • Association owned costumes
  • General running costs such as Incorporation fees, auditor's fees, stationery, postage, etc.
  • Storage fees of Association owned costumes and props.

    HOW DO WE HELP MORE:
     
    We organise fundraisers during the year to extend our ability to help with the costs of dancing. During 2013, we will be having four  major fundraising events:
     
    Term 2 - Mother's Day Gala
    Term 3 - Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraisers
    Term 4 - Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraisers
    End of year Concert Raffle
     
    ASSOCIATION OWNED HIRE COSTUMES ARE AVAILABLE - (NATIONAL AND BALLET ONLY).
     
    When hiring costumes, $30 bond will be payable prior to hiring of the first costume. 
    This is to cover any extra costs of cleaning and repairs to costumes. 
    This bond is refundable.
     A hire fee is also applicable on each costume performance.
     
    PHOTO CONSENT FORMS:
     
    A photo consent form is required to be completed for the year. 
    These are handed to you with your membership application form.
     
    WORKING WITH CHILDREN BLUE CARD:
     
    A blue card is required for all persons over the age of 18 years who are assisting with children.
